September 18, 2009: Tim Prince (center) gave us an informative program on redevelopment issues for downtown San Bernardino. After the talk, DLC members were asked to contact the County Supervisors and ask them not to go forward with the wasteful and misdirected plan to move the County Government Center to a new site next to the freeway. There is enough space for expansion at the present site. Also, leaving the center at its present site will be better for downtown life. Tim is pictured receiving a certificate of appreciation from DLC President Mark Alvarez and Vice President Fran Givens.
